3.2.3 Toolbar

VediView

™

contains a "dockable" tool bar containing buttons with specic icons used

as short cuts to various VediView

™

operations (i.e. in the menus and control bars). The

tool bar appears in the top of the interface underneath the menus. Some users nd

the iconic representation more convenient when they have become more familiar with

the software.

By passing the pointer over each icon and pausing, a “tool tip” will remind the user

of the function of each icon. “Tool tips” are implemented throughout VediView

™

. The

meaning/action of each icon is described in Fig. 3.7
